The quality medicines thus manufactured, helped the marketing team to penetrate into Domestic & International trade.
Currently Pharmafabrikon is the only factory in Tamilnadu producing injections termed as Small Volume Parenteral (SVP) with a wide spread of Ampoules to Multi Dose Vials in Human & Veterinary sects.
Similarly, the Solid Oral Dosage forms include normal tablets to time release / modified release tables & capsules [powder formulations also]. Oral liquid formulations for paediatric needs, cough formulations etc are also produced in this facility. The latest addition is Disinfectants & Oral Hygiene products.
All these activities have become possible by well qualified & trained technical team of 50 people who in turn bring the productivity using a similar trained work force of 300 men.
The entire factory is greenery with about 300 trees & strictly in compliance to the environmental requirements, along with all safety measures including surveillance cameras.
The annual production capacity for a Pharmaceutical unit is hard to decide. But to estimate the size of the facility; Tablets 1 billion, Capsules 90 million, Vials & Ampoules 50 million each, and Oral liquids 12 million bottles.
The above quantities are achieved through many modules like Ampoule line, Vial line etc.
